ABOUT CAICAI

I am CAICAI, a person who feels like I come from the depths of the ocean, a person who loves to interact and play with children. To me, understanding the world of children is much easier than understanding what is happening around me, so I choose to learn about children's picture books. I wish to draw for children or the child in every adult's heart.

Regarding illustration, I was deeply influenced by an Italian painter, Angelico. He had turned down an invitation to serve in the papacy and firmly chose to paint only for his faith. I also want to convey this emotion in my paintings: sincerity and love are the most important things about children's picture books. So, expressing beliefs and emotions is an important part of my work.
